Privacy Policy for Liveora: Live Wallpaper & AOD

This Privacy Policy describes how JAR Incorporated ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with your use of the Liveora: Live Wallpaper & AOD mobile application (the "App").

Introduction

Your privacy is our top priority. The Liveora app is designed to be a self-contained experience that runs entirely on your device. We do not operate servers, and we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal information. This policy explains what information the app handles locally and why certain permissions are necessary for its features to work.

1. Data Collection and Usage

We do not collect any personal data. All data generated by or for the App is stored locally on your device and is under your control.

  • Personally Identifiable Information (PII): We do not collect, request, or have access to any PII, such as your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.

  • User-Generated Content: All wallpapers, settings, and customizations you create are saved directly on your device's local storage. We do not have access to this content.

  • Usage Analytics: We do not use any analytics tools to track your interaction with the App.

2. Permissions Required and Why

The App requests certain permissions only when you use a feature that requires it. All data accessed via these permissions is processed in real-time on your device and is never stored, collected, or shared.

  • SET_WALLPAPER (Set Wallpaper): This permission is fundamental to the App's purpose, allowing it to set the live wallpaper on your home screen and/or lock screen.

  • SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW (Display over other apps): This permission is required only for the "Animated Edge Lighting" feature. It allows the App to draw lighting effects over the user interface when you receive notifications.

  • READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Read External Storage): This permission is requested only when you choose to use your own photo as a wallpaper background. The App uses this to access the specific image you select.

  • RECORD_AUDIO (Record Audio): This permission is required only for the "Music Visualizer" feature. It allows the App to access your device's current audio output to generate visual effects. Audio data is processed in real-time and is not recorded or stored.

  • ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION (Approximate Location): This permission is required only for weather-based live wallpapers. It is used to get general weather conditions for your area to dynamically change the wallpaper. Your precise location is not tracked.

3. Data Security and Retention

All App data, including your settings and saved wallpaper configurations, is stored in the App's private directory on your device. This data is protected by the Android operating system's security measures.

The data remains on your device for as long as the App is installed. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the App's data from your device's settings or by uninstalling the App.

4. User Rights

As all data is stored locally, you have full control over it. You can:

  • Access and Modify: Access and change your saved settings and customizations directly within the App.

  • Delete: Remove all data associated with the App by uninstalling it from your device.

5. In-App Purchases

The App offers optional features and content for purchase ("In-App Purchases"). These financial transactions are processed securely by the Google Play Store. We do not collect, receive, or store any of your payment information.

6. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service used is Google Play Services, which is required for processing In-App Purchases. We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or social media SDKs.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App's functionality. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy within the App and updating the "Effective Date."
