Your privacy is important to us. It is JAR Incorporated's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our application, Storage Suite: Manage & Analyze.

1. Information We Collect & Permissions

To provide the core functionality of managing and analyzing your device storage, our app requires specific permissions. All sensitive data operations are performed locally on your device.

1.1 Storage Access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) Our app requires full access to your device's internal storage, SD card, and connected OTG drives. This permission is used solely for:

  • File Management: Enabling you to copy, move, rename, and delete files.

  • Disk Analysis: Scanning the file system to generate storage usage statistics and visualize data.

  • Disk Operations: Performing formatting, repairing, and speed testing of volumes.

  • Privacy Note: We DO NOT upload your personal files, photos, or videos to any external server.

1.2 Installed Application Data (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES) To function as a comprehensive storage manager, our app accesses the list of installed applications on your device. This is used for:

  • App Manager: Identifying large applications that are consuming storage space.

  • Junk Cleaning: Detecting residual files left by uninstalled apps.

  • Functionality: Enabling users to manage, uninstall, or backup apps to free up space.

1.3 Usage Statistics (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS) We access usage statistics to analyze the storage footprint of applications, including app size, data size, and cache size. This helps users make informed decisions when cleaning storage.

2. Device Information

We may collect non-personal device information to ensure app compatibility and tool accuracy. This includes:

  • Device model and manufacturer.

  • Operating system version (Android API level).

  • Total and Free storage space information (Used to calibrate "Fake Size Detector" and "Speed Test" tools).

3. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services for app stability, analytics, and advertising. These services may collect anonymous data to help us improve the app experience. Please refer to their privacy policies for more details:

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

5. Security

We value your trust in providing us with your access permissions. We strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting your data. All file operations (deleting, formatting) are executed only upon your explicit confirmation. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do the necessary actions.
