Privacy Policy for Verta 3D

This Privacy Policy describes how Verta 3D: Model View & Convert ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use our Android application. Verta 3D is developed and published by JAR Incorporated.
We built Verta 3D to work fully offline. We want you to know exactly what that means for your privacy.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Verta 3D does not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
- Your 3D model files, images, textures, or any content you open in the App
- Location data
- Device identifiers for advertising or tracking purposes
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
The App does not contain any advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, or crash-reporting SDKs. No data leaves your device through the App.
2. Permissions We Use and Why

Files are only read/written where you explicitly choose; the App does not scan your storage in the background. |
| Camera | Used only when you activate the Augmented Reality (AR) feature, to place and view 3D models in your real-world environment using Google ARCore. Camera data is processed on-device in real time and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. |
3. Local Data Storage
To make the App fast, Verta 3D stores some data locally on your device only, including:
- A local cache of converted model files (GLB format) for faster re-opening
- Thumbnails, generated screenshots, and recent-files history (stored in a local database on your device)
- Your app preferences (theme, units, render mode, background, etc.)
This information stays on your device and is never uploaded to any server. Uninstalling the App removes this data.
4. Screenshots and Exported Files
When you use the Screenshot or Convert/Export feature, the resulting image or model file is saved directly to your device's storage (e.g., your Pictures or chosen folder) using the Android system's standard file APIs. These files are yours and are not accessed by us.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses Google ARCore to power its Augmented Reality features. ARCore is a Google service that may collect data as described in Google's own Privacy Policy. We do not control this data collection. Aside from ARCore, Verta 3D does not integrate any third-party advertising, analytics, or data-collection services.
6. Children's Privacy
Verta 3D does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since the App collects no personal data at all, this applies equally to all users regardless of age.
7. Data Security
Since no personal data is collected or transmitted by the App, there is no server-side data of yours for us to secure. All processing happens locally on your device.
8. Your Choices
You can clear the App's local cache, recent files, and thumbnails at any time from the App's Settings, or by clearing app data/uninstalling the App through your device's system settings.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if we add new features in future updates. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date" above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
